As I was in bed for awhile, TV was my only hope.. that and the wonderful invention of the phone! hehe..

Well, I put on QVC as I was clicking for something to see to stop the bordom and there was an 3 hr special with Marie Osmond dolls! Lovely dolls, all of them! I only own two of hers which are two Disney Belle Tiny Tots. As most of hers are over $150 each but worth it!

Anyway most of the people calling in said they own 200 dolls of hers! I was like wow! And I thought owning over 20 AGs was alot! HA! boy was I wrong! Even one man who called in stated he had 400 of her dolls! Wow! It turned out that he got his mothers collection and he continued it! That was wonderful!

Guess we are amateurs to these doll collectors! ha! so now I do not feel bad owning so many AGs.. I know that there are other doll groups that got tons more than us! So start getting more AG dolls people!!!

Two jokes that Marie Osmond said on the show were too funny here they are..

1)What do you call a Doll Collector that has some left over space on her shelf?"

A: An Amateur!

2) How can you find your doll collector's friends house?"

A: Just follow the UPS truck!!!!

I guess I don't have that many dolls then. [img]tongue.gif[/img] Of course, I also don't only collect AGs.
Still, 400 is alot!

My mother has collected dolls for over 30 years she has ones so real looking they are scary, they're even taller then DD. When you're at her house it's sometimes hard to find a place to sit without having to hold a doll on your lap. But she doesn't care for AG dolls.

That's why my husband is leary about my AG collection. Even though I keep it to one a year at most he pointed out that if we are married for 50 years that will be 60 dolls!
